Remember magnetic forces are non-contact forces and do not need to touch other magnetic objects affect them and make them move.

Magnets have two poles, a North Pole and a South Pole.

  • A North Pole will repel a North Pole and make the object move away


  • A North Pole will attract the opposite South Pole and make the object move towards it
